Another Day - Single (2003)

A totally Sweet One !

This video climbed the italian charts to #5 and Norwegian Charts @ #8

It's the second single from her second album Another Day. Italian radios started the airplay from Nov. 28th 2003, and the world première of the video, shot in Oslo, took place in Italy, on Dec 3rd 2003, in the TV show Play.it on All Music.

The commercial release date slid more than once, so Another Day was not sold in Italy before Feb 20th 2004. This indeed compromised the success of this single, that reached its higher position on chart (#17) in its second week of sellings, and left the Top 50 after only seven weeks. The single Another Day was not released in Norway, but it has been on the airplay chart for 17 weeks, reaching up to #8.

Another Day

I've been a Lene fan ever since her first single "Sitting down here" was released all those years ago. Like others, I've always loved her crisp atmospheric vocals and memorable melodies. Having listened to her original album to death, I was anxious to get "Another Day" and am glad to say I was not disappointed. The album saw the same Lene but with more maturity to her songs. Not many are upbeat - indeed, unlike the original, the tone of most of the album is quite melancholy and one wonders what made her feel so down for this album! Even though I would have hoped for some more uplifting tracks, this is still a great album. Stand-out tracks include the beautiful "My love", the haunting "Fight Against The Hours" and the very peaceful "From this day on". Brilliant and well worth the buy!
